About Miles for Moms 5K
This year, East Georgia Cancer Coalition is hosting its 10th annual Miles for Moms 5K. This race will take place in the Five Points community of Athens, Georgia. The race will give us the opportunity to increase cancer awareness in an effort to decrease deaths due to cancer. This 5K event will highlight all cancer types, with special recognition to the mothers in our lives that have faced cancer.
All proceeds from this event will contribute to programs and services for residents within our 53 county region in East Georgia. 100% of the EGCC's donations, programs, and services remain in East Georgia.

Event Details
All ages are invited! The course is a certified qualifying race beginning at the Milledge Avenue Baptist Church. Race day registration and check-in will begin at 7:00am. The race begins at 8:00am, rain or shine!
Early Packet Pickup
Early Packet Pickup will take place at the East Georgia Cancer Coalition office from 9:00am- 5:00pm on Friday, May 12th. We are located inside the Complex Carbohydrate Research Center (315 Riverbend Road, Athens, GA 30602) and will have a table set up in the lobby. Participants must register by April 29th for Early Packet Pickup. All other participants may check in on race day (Saturday, May 13th) beginning at 7:00am.
Health and Business Expo
Stay for our health and business expo immediately following the race to receive FREE screenings, samples, and information!
It is only through the generosity of our funders and donors that we can continue our battle against cancer in east Georgia. 100% of the EGCC’s donations, programs and services remain in east Georgia.
